Nest-shaped moulded plastic shell office chair with fabric upholstery and swivel base. Informed by the sculptural simplicity of Danish design and Japanese furniture traditions this unique office chair is designed by Japanese designer Hiromichi Konno. Marking his first collaboration with Republic of Fritz Hansen this contemporary office chair features a contoured moulded plastic shell seat silhouette. Elevated by a powder coated steel swivel base with rubber glides to protect soft wooden flooring below this minimalist office chair is ergonomically designed to fit the user's body shape. Prioritising harmony at the forefront of his designs Konno has included recess detailing at either side of the chair to create strikingly graphic yet organic profile. Presented with a choice of Kvadrat wool blend colourways the chair is complete with a mounted seat cushion for added comfort. Taking office furniture design in a new direction Konno recently shared his design inspirations in an interview with Republic of Fritz Hansen:"This chair is intended to stir and awake emotions in people. It must be able to appeal visually but also make us feel a form of elegance when we sit in it.
